Sammy Steinlight is a 21-year veteran in the public relations industry. Steinlight spent over 12 years in the Communications Department at Madison Square Garden and held the title of Vice President, Sports Team Publicity - Knicks, Rangers, Liberty and the Garden of Dreams Foundation.  

 

While at The Garden, he was instrumental in various successful publicity campaigns resulting in national media attention as well as many major news press conferences and media events. Steinlight also performed extensive media training exercises with various professional athletes and high-level executives.

 

Established in 2011, Steinlight Media has helped raise the profile for companies and brands which include New York Red Bulls, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Ford Motor Company, DraftKings, 16W Marketing, XFL and the Asbury Park Music & Film Festival.

 

Additionally, Steinlight has recently delivered successful publicity campaigns for releases of best-selling books: Battle on the Hudson and Rolling Stones 50 Licks.

 

Steinlight was awarded a JASPER Award for best Public Relations campaign at the 2015 Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association annual reception.  He also received the Metro Sports Reporters Association “Good Guy Award”, chosen from a pool of New York team sports public relations candidates.

 

In 2019, Steinlight was named a faculty member to the Rutgers University Global Sports Business MS Program.

 

Steinlight serves on the Board of Trustees for Fulfill, formerly The FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

 

He and his wife Jennifer, son Spencer and daughter Sadie reside in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
